A Space to Understand and Grow
Counselling offers a unique space to be able to explore who you are and develop your understanding of yourself – patterns you may fall into, ways in which you interact with the world, and with yourself – and, if you are wanting to make some changes, it can help you to identify what matters to you and take steps to improve your quality of life.

How I Work
I have a particular interest in working with clients struggling in their relationships and with their self-esteem. I believe relationships can often be at the core of many people’s struggles, whether that’s the impact of past experiences in relationships, the day-to-day struggles of relationships with others (that could be family relationships, friendships, romantic relationships, or relationships with colleagues) or the relationship you have with yourself.
With relationships in mind, the counselling relationship is important. It is often one of the biggest factors in how effective an experience of counselling is. To reflect this, I offer a reduced fee initial session for individual sessions, to give us an opportunity to see if we might be a good fit to work together.
Sometimes, it can be helpful to use creative materials to further explore your experience or gain more clarity. I hold creative tools in mind in my work and will check in with you about these if they might be useful. If you have a particular interest in working creatively or need any other adaptations to get the most from sessions, please let me know.
